I've not run much in the last few months due to injury, holidays and then sickness. Our inter club 5k series started last Thursday so I went along to jog round and get a point for my club. Ended up doing 9.15 pace pretty comfortably which for an unfit 60 year old was better than I expected. More importantly though a photographer was out on the course and my pic showed a lovely slight forward lean with no sinking into my hips which is exactly what I've been trying to improve with my pilates. So a huge thank you Liz (Pilates for Runners) I can really see and feel the difference.
